Questions, answered
The practical things clients ask us about this product.
Can I use this balm after a professional peel or laser treatment?
Yes, it's excellent for post-peel and post-laser skin, as directed by your treatment provider.
Can this balm be used on minor cuts or insect bites?
Yes, it can help soothe chapped lips, minor rashes, scrapes, insect bites, and small burns.
Can I use this while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Retinoids are generally avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Pause this product, let us know, and we'll suggest a pregnancy-friendly alternative. Your doctor or midwife has the final say.
Can I use it with vitamin C or exfoliating acids?
Yes, just not at the same time. Use vitamin C in the morning and this at night, and keep exfoliating acids to different nights until your skin is fully comfortable.
Is some tingling normal?
Mild tingling that fades within a few minutes can be normal with active ingredients. Burning, swelling or a rash is not. Rinse it off, stop using it, and contact us.
Do I need sunscreen while using this?
Yes. Active ingredients can make skin more sensitive to the sun, so wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ every morning, even on cloudy days.
