How To Use
Dispense onto fingertips and rub gently to activate the encapsulated pigments; as the shade develops from white to your tone, apply to moisturized face and blend for even coverage, allowing 1-2 minutes to fully adjust. For one-and-done wear, apply a single even layer to the entire face. For fuller, foundation-level coverage, wait 1 minute after the first layer before building a second. Set with a Total Protection brush-on sunscreen or foundation as desired. If unsure between two shades, choose the lighter one.

Can this fully replace my foundation?
Yes, many people use it as a full foundation replacer by building up a second layer after the first sets for one minute, giving fuller coverage while staying SPF 50 protected.
What if I'm between two shades?
If unsure, choose the lighter shade — or mix and match with other Face Shield products, since they all share the same all-mineral SPF 50 protection.
Why does the color look white at first?
The encapsulated pigments start white and develop to match your skin tone as you blend — the shade is fully developed once the product is no longer white, usually within 1-2 minutes.
Do I still need to reapply during the day?
Yes. Reapply about every 2 hours when you're outdoors, and after swimming, sweating or towel-drying. One morning application doesn't last all day in the sun.
Is it enough to protect against pigmentation and melasma?
Daily SPF is the foundation. If you're prone to pigment or melasma, a tinted formula with iron oxides adds protection from visible light, and a hat and shade help too. Ask us which option suits your skin.
Can I use this after a facial or microneedling?
Follow your aftercare instructions first. Gentle, fragrance-free products usually come back within a few days. We'll tell you exactly when at your appointment.
