What is BioRePeel®?

BioRePeelCl3® FND is a two-phase professional peel for the face, neck and décolleté. It contains 35% trichloroacetic acid (TCA), with salicylic, lactobionic, tartaric and citric acids, amino acids, vitamins and a lipid phase.

The exfoliating phase works on surface cell buildup; the lipid phase supports moisture retention. Your provider selects the area, application and treatment schedule after assessing your skin. This is a professional treatment, not an at-home peel.

The benefits

An anti-ageing option for brighter, smoother-looking skin. BioRePeel supports surface renewal and is particularly useful to discuss when ageing skin looks dull, feels rough or has fine surface lines.

  • Refined surface lines: exfoliation and skin conditioning help soften the look of fine, superficial lines.
  • More radiance: removal of surface buildup helps refresh a dull or tired-looking complexion.
  • A softer, smoother feel: renewal and moisturizing ingredients complement a routine for mature skin.
  • A more even-looking complexion: sun-related uneven tone and texture can be assessed as part of your rejuvenation plan.
  • Ongoing skin-quality care: a professionally planned series can complement your long-term anti-ageing routine.
  • A smoother surface: exfoliation helps refine roughness and uneven texture.
  • A fresher-looking complexion: surface renewal helps dull skin look more luminous.
  • Congestion support: the acid blend helps address comedones and the appearance of enlarged pores in suitable acne-prone skin.
  • Skin conditioning: moisturizing ingredients complement exfoliation and support a softer feel.
  • Uneven tone and post-breakout marks: these can be assessed as part of an individual pigmentation plan.
  • Early photoageing concerns: fine surface lines and sun-related texture can be discussed alongside consistent daily sun protection.

The manufacturer describes exfoliating, biostimulating, revitalizing and hydrating actions. We choose the treatment around the concern in front of us, rather than treating every form of acne, pigmentation or sensitivity in the same way.

Who is it best suited to?

For early signs of ageing & mature skin

BioRePeel is worth considering when your main anti-ageing goals are a brighter complexion, smoother surface texture, softer-looking fine lines and a more refreshed appearance. It can suit mature skin when the barrier is healthy and the peel is appropriate for your skin history. Dry, fragile or reactive skin needs preparation and an individual assessment before exfoliation.

A preventative approach to visible ageing

A planned peel series can form part of proactive skin-quality care before sun-related dullness and texture become more noticeable. Pair it with daily broad-spectrum sunscreen, moisturizing and a suitable home routine to help prevent premature sun-related ageing. The peel supports renewal and visible skin quality while natural ageing continues.

BioRePeel can be considered for dullness, rough texture, congestion, blackheads and early signs of ageing when the skin barrier is healthy. For post-acne marks, melasma or ongoing breakouts, we first identify the type and cause of the concern and build a coordinated homecare plan.

Deep acne, an active rash, a damaged barrier or persistent unexplained redness needs assessment before a peel. A sun-damaged spot that changes, bleeds or does not heal needs medical assessment.

New clients begin with the New Client Facial + Consultation. This gives us time to review your history, skincare and skin response before starting a corrective series.

Results, skin renewal & timing

After the surface settles

A smoother feel and brighter appearance are the early changes we assess. These are surface-renewal benefits; visible shedding is not a measure of how well a peel has worked.

Across the series

Texture, congestion and tone are reviewed over consecutive visits and with consistent homecare. We adjust timing to your recovery, rather than repeating a peel on irritated skin.

Longer-term skin quality

Collagen-related change develops over weeks to months, rather than overnight. The 3–6-month remodelling window described for microneedling is not an established BioRePeel-specific result deadline. We assess your longer-term skin quality separately from its initial glow.

At Solea, BioRePeel® treatments are spaced every 7–14 days. Your provider confirms your schedule around your skin, recovery and treatment plan.

What happens during your visit?

  1. Assess: we review skin condition, recent products, medications and treatments.
  2. Prepare: your skin is cleansed and prepared for the peel.
  3. Apply: the professional formula is applied and monitored. Tingling, warmth or stinging can occur; tell us immediately if discomfort becomes intense.
  4. Finish: the peel is removed according to its protocol and soothing care is applied. Your package includes LED when appropriate for you.
  5. Plan: we review recovery, product pauses and the timing of your next visit.

Contraindications & when to postpone

Do not treat over

  • Active cold sores or another infection, open wounds, freshly injured skin or sunburn.
  • Marked irritation, a compromised barrier, or an active eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis flare.
  • A suspicious lesion or an area undergoing skin-cancer treatment.
  • Skin with a known allergy to the peel’s ingredients, including salicylates or TCA.

Tell us before booking

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding: postpone until your provider confirms a suitable alternative or treatment plan.
  • Current or recent oral isotretinoin, topical retinoids or retinol. BioRePeel-specific restrictions apply; see the preparation section below.
  • Impaired healing, uncontrolled diabetes, immune suppression, keloid history, or a previous severe peel reaction.
  • Photosensitizing medication, systemic steroids, chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
  • Recent waxing, laser, peels, microneedling, surgery or injectables in the treatment area.
  • A history of cold sores or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, so prevention and treatment selection can be discussed.
  • Upcoming sun exposure or an inability to follow aftercare.

These factors can mean postponing, changing the plan or obtaining medical clearance. Do not stop prescribed medication to make yourself eligible. We will work with the timing advised by your prescriber and the product instructions.

Pre-care: before your appointment

The routine below follows Solea’s stored chemical-peel care guide, with the BioRePeel-specific retinoid precaution added.

Retinol & retinoids: plan ahead

The manufacturer’s BioRePeel brochure advises avoiding combination with retinol and retinoids, specifying one month after stopping topical use and three months after oral use before treatment. This is longer than the general seven-day peel preparation advice. Tell us your exact product and last-use date so we can confirm the current instructions for the formulation used. Prescription changes require your prescriber’s advice.

7 days before

  • Avoid strong AHAs/BHAs, at-home peels, waxing, threading and laser on the area.
  • Avoid tanning beds, prolonged sun exposure and sunburn.
  • Use broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily and tell us about recent treatments.

3–5 days before

  • Use a gentle cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen unless we have given you a specific preparation routine.
  • Pause benzoyl peroxide and other strong acne products only as agreed with your provider or doctor.
  • Avoid scrubs and new or irritating products.

On the day

  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin where possible; skip active products that morning.
  • Tell us about cold-sore symptoms, a new rash, sunburn, illness or medication changes.
  • Allow recovery time before an important event, especially for your first peel.

Post-care: the days after

First 24 hours

  • Keep your skin cool and calm. Use only your provider-approved cleanser, soothing serum or cream, moisturizer and daytime SPF 30+.
  • Use lukewarm water; avoid hot water, rubbing and exfoliation.
  • Avoid strenuous workouts, heavy sweating, hot yoga, saunas and hot tubs.
  • Preferably skip makeup. If we clear you to wear it, use clean tools and light application on intact, comfortable skin.
  • Avoid direct sun and tanning. Use shade and a hat as well as sunscreen.

24–72 hours

  • Skin may feel dry, tight or mildly sensitive; some people develop light flaking.
  • Keep to gentle cleansing, hydration, moisturizer and daily sunscreen.
  • Let any peeling release naturally. Do not pick, pull, rub or scrub it off.
  • Avoid retinol/retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, scrubs, cleansing brushes, waxing, dermaplaning and any vitamin C that stings.

Days 3–7, and until healed

  • Continue moisturizing and protecting from the sun.
  • Restart non-retinoid actives gradually only after peeling has stopped, skin feels calm and your provider agrees.
  • For retinoids, get a plan for the whole BioRePeel series before restarting: the manufacturer’s pre-treatment restriction still applies before your next peel.
  • Do not schedule another exfoliating procedure while your skin is recovering.

Between visits

Keep your routine consistent and bring any skin changes to our attention. Little or no peeling does not mean you need a stronger at-home exfoliant. Your next treatment is based on skin readiness.

What is normal, and when to get help?

Temporary tingling, redness, dryness, tightness or light flaking can occur. A chemical peel can also cause burns, infection, pigment change or scarring, so worsening symptoms need assessment.

Seek prompt medical care for increasing pain, spreading heat or redness, pus, fever, blisters, raw areas or significant swelling. Eye exposure requires immediate rinsing with plenty of water and urgent advice. Breathing difficulty or severe facial swelling needs emergency care.
